Can’t sign out of Apple ID/Screen time

Recently, I have not been able to sign out of my Apple ID due to “restrictions”. So, I searched up online why that is happening. One thing said maybe because of a screen time password. I have a screen time password set up, but I don’t ever remember setting one up. I don’t remember what the password was, so I selected “forgot password”. It asked me to enter my Apple ID credentials so I did, and it said they were wrong. So, I reset my password to Apple ID and tried it again to reset my screen time password and it still said it was wrong.

If anyone knows any way to fix this, please help it would be so great!

If using IOS 13.4 or later, see the Apple Support article(s) below. Link to contact Apple Support at the end of the article.

Screen Time passcode reset

If necessary,  you will need to restore the device to factory settings. Do not restore from a backup made when the Screen Time code was active.

Restore to Factory setting.
