To the best of my knowledge, there is no App Store app in the Apple TV app on recent LG TVs. There is only "Available Channels" and Kanopy is not included in that.

The Kanopy app is available for Apple TV 4K and Apple TV (4th generation). If you are unsure of which model you own, you can check here. To download the app, go to the App Store on your Apple TV, search for Kanopy and install the app
