When I try to play my music some of my songs are grayed out and do not work.

Do you have a subscription to either Apple Music or iTunes Match?
When did your songs last play properly and what has happened since? E.g. moved to new computer, etc.

I have a subscription to Apple Music and had a subscription to iTunes Match previously. The songs play just fine on iTunes but I cannot use any of them on Photo or iMovie. This is all on my laptop MacBook Pro and even my downloaded music isn't appearing on Photos slideshow or iMovie.

I've already been there and checked to make sure my sync is on and songs have the checkmark but still no luck.
On itunes on my computer.
