AppleTV Remote App disappearing buttons

Ok Apple, I’m asking a question that has already been asked before by multiple people over the last SEVERAL years now, back to 2016 at least and “Me Too’d” by hundreds more:

The AppleTV Remote app has an issue when switching away from and back to the remote app, the rewind and fast forward buttons on the screen just disappear completely and only force-closing and restarting the app brings them back. Repeat same problem over and over.

Why has this issue not been fixed YET? Using on multiple iPhone models with different iOS versions over the last several years and the same issue still persists.

The Apple TV Remote app (from the App Store) was discontinued mid 2020, when it was removed from the App Store. The last update was about 2 years ago. It was somewhat double effort with the very similar Apple TV Remote widget in Control Center.

The RW/FF button would appear and hide, depending on whether something was playing or not, at least 10 secs from the beginning or end.

You are encouraged to use the Apple TV Remote widget in Control Center instead.
