MacBook Air m1 trackpad left click unresponsive

Why I am getting this new problem. Brand new computer bought 4 months ago from Best Buy.

worked great for about 3 months becomes very unresponsive when I left click/1 finger click or tap does not work any more. Only way I fix it is by restarting the computer but happens again in a few minutes if use. Frustrating experience.
