I just got the brand new iMac. The Keyboard isn't lighting up when its dark and I see no buttons to do so. When I enter the settings and click on keyboard there isn't an option to adjust the backlit option for the keys. Does this keyboard not light up?

No, neither the original Magic Keyboard or the Magic Keyboard 2 are backlit. You can find backlit compatible keyboards from other manufacturers, though.
