How do I find out if there’s a Mac OS connected to my iPad or iPhone?

The only way a Mac can be linked to your phone is either through iCloud account sharing features like SideCar:

Or if you have the Apps TeamViewer, Anydesk or similar remote desktop application on your iDevice, and its sharing is turned on.
Usually the top of the screen will indicate with a bar if there is something trying to multitask in the background.
iCloud backup and sync allows you to share data between a Mac and an iDevice if both devices are linked to the same iCloud account.
Naturally if you have Bluetooth enabled or are hardwired or use cellular WiFi tethering, the Mac could use the iDevice over those channels.
