I cannot see "Allow your Apple Watch to Unlock Your Mac"

MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2018)

MacOS Big Sur 11.3.1

Apple Watch SE 7.4.1

WiFi and Bluetooth on for both

AppleID is using two factor auth on both MacBook and watch

Signed in to the same iCloud ID

Apple watch using a passcode

Internet sharing is off, Screen sharing is off


Not sure what else to do. I have tried all the answers given and still no checkbox to unlock my MacBook with my watch :(

Also disconnect all external devices from your Mac, reboot, and check if you option appears.


And read through the 50+ pages in the above thread for the many different ways users have managed to get unlocking your Mac with your Apple Watch working.
