hi, I am facing an issue in my new MacBook Air. I can start the screen record on QuickTime, but there seems to be no stop button. I have to either restart or shutdown to stop the recording. Is this the way it should work?

The stop button should appear in the menu bar (top of the screen). It's a circle containing a stop icon.

unfortunately nothing is popping up. I have to use the keyboard combination to stop the recording or Restart or shutdown. Looks like some bug.
@Marco thanks - that was helpful. Saw the stop button. Looks like the placement is a bit tricky for normal/ new user to understand.
