why does iphone 8 plus needs password after factory reset?
I've just gotten my grandmothers old iphone 8 plus and i factory reset it. Now it wants a password because it needs one after restarting. can you help me please.

That is activation lock, tied to your grandmother’s AppleID. She needs to sign out of iCloud on that device to release it for your use.
