Ghost calls

My iphone is making repeated calls to people in my address book. This is not pocket dialing. My call history shows I received a call, their phone history shows they received a call But neither of us placed a call

-------

Cover the Phone's Screen:

Where is your phone placed when this is happening? If it is in you pocket, then use a cover for the screen (OtterBox makes plenty), as tapping the screen would not occur, while in your pocket (or wherever).

Also:

Perform a Restart:

A. Try Force Restarting your iPhone:

Save any information that need be. Then perform the restart.

Go Here: Force Restart iPhone - Apple Support

B. Try Manually Restarting your iPhone:

  1. Go To: Settings
  2. Select: General
  3. Scroll to: the Very Bottom
  4. Select: Shut Down
  5. Slide Finger: to the Right
  6. Wait: 30 Seconds
  7. Power One: the iPhone
  8. Try this Once More
