when I try to retrieve mail on my phone I get an account error message ... no password provided for aol. There was no reason for this to begin as I did not change or delete my aol password. After several frustrating days of dealing with this, I finally changed my aol password, and tried to enter it and it still does not work. However it does work on my desk top.

Make sure that all of your emails are there or make sure that your email is saved somewhere other than your device. On your device, go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts. Tap the email account that you want to remove. Tap Delete Account.
