accidently clicked "dont save" on microsoft Word document on mac

I accidentally pressed "don't save" on a Microsoft Word document, how can I recover it?

Accidentally clicked don't save? Can I still recover this word doc file? I accidentally clicked don't save but it was really important. It's on my recent file but when I try to open it it says "Can't open... This document has been deleted or is not currently accessible." I tried tmpdir, autorecovery and also tried using any recover and deskdrill but i can't find it. Is there any other way or is it possible to recover it at all?

recover MS WORD file I acidentally wrote over Based on what I can find on web, I can ... click on the "file" menu. Select the "Browse Version History" option. However, my "Browse Version History" option is GREYED OUT. Anyone undertstand why?

Recover your previous version of the document from your backup.
