hello! I have MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012) and I have macOS Sierra, I need the latest update but when I go to software update it doesn't appear updates fro my macOS. I need help please. I downloaded Adobe InDesign and is not compatible with my macOS.

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and click on High Sierra, Mojave, or Catalina. They're full-version upgrades and won't appear in the Updates list.
Big Sur won't run on that model.

To provide some clarification, you are looking to do an OS upgrade to a newer OS, not an update to an existing OS. Updates and upgrades are accessed differently.
