I am having trouble opening attachments in my email account, how can you help?
iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 14
What type of attachment?
What happens when you try?
Are those all affected emails coming from one contact?
Is it the same happening with emails coming from other contacts?
Do you have more than one email account? If yes is it the same happening on all accounts?

IF it is happening with your gmail app, then you need to address the issue with google or look at their support site.
