Left airpod won’t connect at all

So my left airpod just randomly stopped working out of the blue. It dosnt connect to my phone and my phone dosnt even realize it’s there. I have done the “forget device” thing already and it still dosnt work. There is no damage to the airpod or the case at all. What do I do cause I don’t really wanna have to buy a new airpod
