how do I change page numbers to start on page 3?

Insert a Section Break at the end of the text on Page 2.

With the insertion point on Page 3, click on the Document button (to the right of the Format Brush), then choose section.


In the Section Inspector, UNcheck the Match previous section item.



Click the Start at radio button.

Set the Start at number to 1.
