Question

My Apple Watch stopped connecting to the camera on my iPhone.

I tried un-pairing then re-pairing the watch and the phone - but it looks like the un-pairing didn’t work.

the watch does not appear on the Apple Watch App on the phone, but I do get Txt message notifications - the watch doesn’t have a SIM. ?????

I tried resetting the watch to factory settings - but that doesn’t seem to do anything. I still have all the Apps showing on the watch.

what should I try next?

Resetting will bring back the factory settings, including the default apps. Have you restarted your iphone as well? Worth trying a hard reset with that too.

If no help, I would next make sure that the unpair and erase was truly complete.

Assuming that goes OK, try pairing again.

You could also check how your devices appear on https://www.icloud.com/. Resetting is available there too.
