My old iphone 6 is broken, partially working. Will I be able to transfer info to a new iphone?

My old iphone 6 is broken, partially working. Will I be able to transfer info to a new iphone?
If you're lucky and you had the phone set to automatically back up to iCloud and to sync items to iCloud then restoring a new phone from a backup and signing into iCloud should restore most things. If the phone is switched on it and connected to power it may even have made a very recent backup and you should be able to recover pretty much everything. If you're lucky you might be able to do this --> Use Quick Start to transfer data to a new iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Only if you can turn it on.
It's on but can't get past the home button to open up
Then you'll have to get it repaired before you can't get anything not synced to your iCloud account from it.
