I have a 1 year subscription to Apple TV and we have started watching Yellowstone. Now when I try to wAtch it wants me to put lay for each episode or a season? Why is it not included in my subscription?

Yellowstone is not available in Apple TV+ (note the "+"). The 1 year free subscription is for Apple TV+ and not for everything on Apple TV. See the following for information about Apple TV+ and the content available: https://tv.apple.com/
Also be aware that you can be watching in Apple TV but still not be in Apple TV+.
