Can you use an EGPU with a thunderbolt connection? I have a late 2014 27” iMac.

I want to use a EGPU. What are my options?

No can do.

Apple indicates that eGPU support requires a Thunderbolt 3 port.

You have Thunderbolt 2 with an iMac 5K 27” late 2014. Not Thunderbolt 3.

First iMac with Thunderbolt 3 looks to be the 2017 models.
