iMac to Mac mini

Hello. Can I do a migration assist from my iMac to Mac mini without extra monitor?!


i don’t have time machine back up either. Is it possible to transfer data without the extra external display ? Thank you!

  1. You need at least one display for the Mac mini to run Migration Assistant.
  2. Time Machine restore is better for moving data, but again, you need a display.


In order to use the Mac mini, you need a display. Choose one from LG or HP.

thank you for response. So I am curious now, when you say even if I could ; is there really a way to do Migration assistant without the extra display?!


if I have a Time machine backup external hard drive?! Is that possible to transfer data to Mac mini and if so, how?! What’s is the process?!


Sorry for the two questions I’m just really trying to figure on how I can do this without the extra display. Lol
