iPhone 11 got water damage

My iphone 11 got water damage but not covered by Apple. I was surprised as Apple stated that iPhone 11 is 'Water Resistant' but my phone broke due to swap with wet tissue. i feel like being scammed by ' Water resistant' claimed by Apple for Iphone 11. I really need a repair for my iphone11. Thanks

On the website it says that my phone is water resistance up to 15ft for 30 minutes, so I didn't think much of the incident and just dried it off with a towel. Iphone 11 suffered from water Hello, the iPhone 11 I used to use (IP68) shall be water resistant. Unfortunately it has been in contact with water (20-30 sec). I've sent it to the local iSpot (Apple authorized Service) and received a message where it was stated that I must pay the fee to repair (this iPhone is 7 months old only). What are your experiences in such a matter of a case when an iPhone had a contact with water? My best, Marek

Water and other liquid damage to iPhone or iPod isn't covered by warranty - Apple Support

“Splash, water, and dust resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear.”

That was made clear if you read the footnotes on the website
