I can't see the apple TV menu anymore so I can't connect the device to my wifi. I can only see a balck screen showing: Connect to wifi or choose this apple TV but I can't move from there.
Unplug it from its power source for 2-3 minutes and retry.
It may need to be reset. Are you attempting to use AirPlay or is this the only screen you can see?

Worth mentioning that is an apple TV Gen 3 (aluminium remote control)
I am attempting to use the airplay but I can't even connect to the wifi as this is the only screen I get. I can't restore as I don't see anything else than this.

Hello, yes it blinks when I press something in the remote control, when it was connected to the internet, while in use it was on all the time
