Why do we have to purchase AppleCare+ within 60days instead of 1yr?

Is it ok to get AppleCare after 60days?

Because those are the terms set by Apple. Nobody here can address why an Apple decision or policy is the way it is.


And no, you cannot buy AppleCare+ once the 60 day eligibility period has lapsed.
