Overheating issues caused by Big Sur on a MBP 16' fully specced out

Hi! I've recently had to downgrade back to Catalina to find my brand new, super expensive Intel I9 with 32Gb of memory MBP 16' not overheating like crazy with the fans running full speed... while doing nothing expect running at idle.

Now what? Do I never upgrade to Big Sur again because it's so badly put together that only an M1 chip can handle and not Intel based systems? That's my question.

Thank you!

Most likely this was due to some software you have installed not working correctly in Big Sur.

You can try installing a clean Bih Sur on an external SSD and you are likely to find that it works fine.
