From your Apple menu, select About This Mac. On that panel, your Mac product description line will have information in parenthesis. Keep that info on hand, so when you visit How to get old versions of macOS using only the Safari browser, you can determine which operating system's hardware requirements that you satisfy. When you have a match, you can click on the link to the appropriate macOS upgrade in the Mac App Store, where you can download it to your Mac.
