Recently upgrade my macbook pro to Big Sur. The toolbar of Finder is missing, I have already checked, unchecked and checked back again the View - Show/Hide Toolbar at the top ribbon many times, the toolbar won't show up. There is only current folder name at the top of finder. I have to use View as Columns for now so that I can browse files in different levels. Has anyone encounter this problem? or any solution of it?

Can't say I have. You could try deleting ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist
Oh no....I don’t even have that file in my preference folder.
Are you certain? While in the Finder, press command shift G, then paste in the path.
Try what I described in the Finder "Go to Folder…" dialog window.

Oh okey sorry! my bad! Found it and deleted it. Checked update, updated, rebooted my macbook. But still, no toolbar...
