Two Options and I recommend that you perform both tasks listed below:

  1. On your MacBook Pro, open the Messages app ➔ Preferences ➔ iMessage ➔ Sign Out.
  2. On your iPhone, open Settings ➔ Messages ➔ Text Message Forwarding : Here, locate your MacBook Pro and set that switch to OFF.
