I changed my AOL email password, and it takes two or three tries to get new email incoming, and won’t allow outgoing, saying incorrect password, even though the correct password is in there.

AOL updated their security and require app specific password, contact them or look at their support site for more information on how to set it up.

Changing AOL email SMTP outgoing password on my iPhone SE. it doesn’t allow changes.
