I can no longer delete an app, I only have the option to remove from Home Screen

If there is no option to delete any apps, there may be a restriction set on deleting apps. On an iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Deleting Apps.
