apple watch app not working

My Apple Watch app does not work. When i click on it, it looks like it will open and then it returns back to my home screen. I have tried all the troubleshooting techniques advised by apple and they cannot fix it. Does any one else have this problem?

Delete the app, turn off the phone. Wait 2 minutes, turn the phone on. go to App Store and download the watch app again.
