Airpods not connecting to mac

My Airpods show up on my mac bluetooth but they won't connect. I tried turning bluetooth on and off. I tried resetting my airpods. Still show up but won't connect.

My AirPods are not connecting to my Mac. Has anyone had their AirPods connect (only momentarily) to their Mac, only to disconnect a few seconds later? If so, how did you fix the issue?
