MacOS Big Sur

In a Finder window it is possible to SHOW the file path of a document by going to the menu bar and selecting View>Show Path Bar.

How do I copy this, to paste it in a document?

Hold down the option key when you copy the file. That will copy as pathname.

drag drop onto folder alias 2014 MBP 15" Big Sur I have some folder aliases on the desktop, and finder will not let me drag/drop files onto/into those folders. Is there a work around so that I do not have to open the folder to move the file into it? Thanks peeps (it is not the 13" MBP 2011 that Apple thinks it is)
