No Face ID, Can I still set up Apple Pay

Last year, while disinfecting my iPhone, moisture fried my facial recognition. Thus, no Face ID. I took it into a certified Apple repair shop who confirmed that Face ID was indeed fried. I do not want to pay to fix it. I have been fine without it for almost a year. Now, I was just approved for an Apple Card, but to use it - and most importantly to receive a physical card - I have to set it up in Wallet. OK, fine but... I have to have Face ID to set it up and I can't figure out how to circumvent that. How do I set up Apple Pay without Face ID? I do not plan to have it fixed, so that is not an option. How do I receive my physical card without setting up Apple Pay in Wallet? I'd love to use Apple Pay in Wallet, if someone can tell me how to do so. But the most important thing for me is to have the physical card. Thank you.

When you go to Settings>faceID & Passcode>Apple Pay - is that turned off? You can also set up an assistive touch method of using Apple Pay. The Apple Card should be in your Wallet if you use a Passcode.

When you go to settings>accessibility>touch>assistive touch>scroll down to the bottom of the screen - do you have something called "confirm with assistive touch?" That may be your alternate solution.
