In my experience, each person who wishes to be on a Group FaceTime call must call in or accept a Group FaceTime Invite on an Apple device, but it doesn’t have to be iPhone—it could be an iPad, iPad Pro, MacBook Air, MacBook, MacBook Pro, Mac Mini, Mac desktop, etc., so long as it’s running an Apple operating system with the FaceTime App.
