Fraud

I Just received a call from a 1833 number and it was telling me that my Apple ID has been used in Russia and they could access my financial information off my phone in a in they told me that I was not supposed to have two IMEI numbers and I do have two numbers so I was wondering what is this a legit call or is this someone trying to commit fraud? I have IMEI under primary and under digital sim...

Apple does not make such calls.

All such calls are scams from criminals attempting to steal your personal and financial information. The callers will often use number spoofing to pretend they are calling from a legitimate business. The correct course of action is to ignore the calls or hang up on them, repeatedly if needed. 


Avoid phishing emails, fake 'virus' alerts, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support
