When I attempt to burn a playlist to disc I get the following error code 0xC0AA0301 and then the burn fails.

Are you trying to include a song that you got through an Apple music subscription? Songs that you LEASE with an Apple Music subscription are DRM (copy protected) to play only on approved Apple devices and cannot be burned to a CD.
