Re: Cannot download songs from Mac to iPhone.

"Hello.

I have an iPhone and I'm trying to connect it to my Mac to download songs from my Mac to my phone. Both the Mac and phone have all the latest updates. iTunes is up to date on both. When i connect it with a usb cable it charges but the Mac doesn't recognize the device. The phone never shows up.

What can i do to fix this? And is there another way to download my songs to my phone?

Thanks. "

Everything is up to date (with the absolute latest updates) and the links that the "Apple Recommended" people post are worthless and do nothing to assist with what's wrong. They just cough up "download the latest updates" whenever all updates are the latest ones.

This link is worthless: Use the Finder to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer - Apple Support

This link is also worthless: If your computer doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support

See About the 'Trust This Computer' alert on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support and reset your trust settings, then connect your unlocked device to the computer and trust it when prompted.
