Unable to install list of fonts on M1 MacBook Pro with Big Sure

I have brand new M1 MacBook Pro with Big Sure and so far I am still not able to install a list of fonts via any of the font managers ( Extensis Suitcase, or the Apple Font Book). The fonts I experienced this are the whole Helvetica Neue LT family, Arial MT family, Sackers Gothic family but the list probably longer.

but in the end, the advice is not to use these fonts for now and to contact apple for support.

Is not a variant not to use the fonts because my job is related to working on supplied files where the fonts list used in the file is not subject of my choice or personal preference.

Has anyone met the same problem and eventually solve it?

I have the same problem, also it was taking an insane amount of time with Font Book, and kept coming up with errors...

I installed Font Base, and it took seconds to import all my fonts, and activates without issues!

In Big Sur, the traditional System font locations are off-limits for installation (or Font Book deactivation) as it is a code-signed, read-only partition. You can drop these fonts into the /Users/username/Library/Fonts folder and they will become immediately available for the particular user's applications.
