iMac 2013 i5 running very slowly
Hi all,
I recently got a 2013 iMac and it is running very slowly. I ran an etrecheck and will post below, but the hard drive seems to be the only suggestion. Any advice? Thanks in advance!

It is very possible your hard drive is starting to fail. There may be other software issues, but a failing hard drive is a critical issue. Please backup all your data in case it fails.
Please try these resets/tests first:
- PRAM Reset: Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support
- SMC Reset: How to reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support
- Safe Mode: Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support (Safe Mode is for troubleshooting only)
- First Aid: How to repair a Mac disk with Disk Utility - Apple Support
