Big Sur error when downloading

I just tried to download macOS Big Sur on my 2017 MacBook Pro, but I get to about the 13 minutes left mark then get an error saying it cannot download. Anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions?

Big Sur 11.2.3 won't download (Mac) Hi folks - I'm a new and very inexperienced Mac user (only since xmas) and I can't get Big Sur 11.2.3 to download. Ive tried resetting the router and plugged in an ethernet so its not a network connection problem and however many times Ive tried I still get the "An error occurred while downloading the selected updates. Please check your internet connection and try again" message, ITS DRIVING ME NUTS!! Can anyone help me? I'd be extremely grateful for any assistance. Many thanks Simon

Big Sur 11.2.3 Is anyone having problems downloading Big Sur 11.2.3? It refuses to download to my iMac. I have tried umpteen times. I have restarted, turned off, unplugged, checked my internet connection, restarted router, and still nothing. I keep on getting the same message about an error occuring. It tells me to check the internet connection. This is so frustrating.

Suggest rebooting into Safe Mode - Shift - immediately at startup and disconnect all external drives. Try again
