The installer for Mac OS High Sierra 10.13 is damaged and cannot be installed

Want to upgrade from Yosemite 10.10.5 to High Sierra 10.13 but App Store only has latest version and when Open, pop-up says Installer is damaged and cannot be used.

Choose Applications from the Finder's Go menu, throw the installer away, and download another copy.
