why wont my iphone turn on

My iphone xs shut off last night ant wont turn on now. It gets stuck on the "apple logo" start up screen. Any ideas how to factory reset or erase everything on iphone so I can restore it?

Follow the instructions in this article by Apple ➔ If your iPhone is Non-Responsive or Frozen and see if that helps.
