update OS X version
My Mac currently run with OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.5 which I would like to upgrade. However, there is no update available. How can I manage the upgrade?

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and depending on which MacBook Pro model you have, download El Capitan, High Sierra, Catalina, or Big Sur through the links provided. They're full-version upgrades and won't appear in the Updates list.
