How do i disable swipe to go back a page in safari for the iphone?

I just really want my safari to stop going back a page when I move the screen?? This has been asked before but the answer doesn’t seem to work anymore...

( “Go to Settings

Go to General

Go to Accessibility

Go to Switch Control

Go to Recipes

Go to "Turn Pages"

There will be various "switches" listed there, such as "left to right swipe." Swipe right and delete those.” )

I followed the instruction but my phone keeps doing it anyways. Please oh please tell me there is a solution?

iPhone 5s, iOS 12

Hello JakiV.

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you cannot turn off switch control on your iPhone. We will be glad to assist.

Let's restart the iPhone and check for iOS updates:

Restart your iPhone

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Additionally, turn Switch Control on then off to see if that helps:

Use Switch Control to navigate your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Cheers.
