iMessage

Hello

I am not able to use my phone number to send sms in iMessage.

I’ve tried 

Switching my iPhone off and on

Resetting my network

Putting my phone on airplane mode 

Checking my date & time

Turning iMessage off and on 

But I only get the option to use my iCloud email for iMessage.

Whenever I click on my phone number 

It either says “veryfying” “unsuccessfully activation” or “an error during activation try again” 

I do have credit and 4g. 

I’m hoping it’s something minor 

Can you please help me with this issue.

Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider) The agency who issued the SIM to you to know whether you have a SMS plan enabled at least for One SMS


If your iPhone is used with a carrier not found in the wireless carrier articles, make sure you can send and receive international SMS.
