Failing the Mail ISP having a SPAM filter to use, you can consider using SpamSieve, or rolling your own SPAM filter using Apple Mail's rules. I can help if you want to roll your own Mail rule to whack SPAM.

You can log into your email provider's website and see if they have a filter you can enable.
