Access the free one year of Apple TV with new MAc

I bought my Mac to keep doing school during COVID quarantines. But only now want to try the free one year Apple TV. But I can't seem to get it to activate? I am only being offered 1 week free trial. I might be that I accidentally made a new Apple ID with this machine.

Can you help?

You are entitled to 90 days of free telephone support from Apple. Try contacting them.

Apple Support Contact.
