Try another cable, check for fluff in the docking port, try putting the classic in disk mode,

Itunes doesn't recognize ipod classic Itunes doesn't recognize my ipod classic when plugged into my pc lap top. The lap top recognizes the device just itunes doesn't. I've tried resetting the ipod, changing it to act as a disk drive... nothing has worked.
